Cambodia and Thailand

posted by Sarah on February 25th, 2006 at 6:22 pm JST

In what could easily be considered our most successful vacation to date (no muggings or serious gastro-intestinal distress! Huzzah!), Niq and I journeyed to Thailand and Cambodia during winter vacation. Bangkok was still exciting, and Cambodia was new and very awe-some (not awesome rad, but awesome awe-some). Come with me, friend, on a selective tour of our vacation! It’s quite detailed, mostly as a record for us, so even the family members shouldn’t feel guilty about skimming. Really, I forgive you.

Amazing pictures of a truly memorable adventure. You guys both write the best captions! These are experiences that will be with you forever and I am glad that you have had the chance to really see the world - at least the Asian part of the world.

    I loved the baby elephant!

It is mysterious that someone could use the word askewity and give her father grief about the word dicey.

Awesome pictures! Maybe Nicholas should stick to mastering grilled cheese? (Just kidding! You are becoming a great cook.)
I agree with Lee, the baby heffalump was too cute. I’m happy for both of you that you got to experience what you have while in Japan. Now, how about moving to Tahiti or Hawaii?!
    Love,
    Husker Mom

I’m really shocked by seeing this picture, because that is my boyfriend. No joke, I’m serious! I’m a half thai half belgian girl and Piroon, your guide, is my uncle. What a coincidence I landed on your site!
