Right in the middle of the ritzy part of Bangkok’s downtown, where the prices are all too similar to Japan and the designer goods are most likely genuine, stands the small shrine Erawan. It is truly a “Little House in the Big City”-like scene. The woman in this picture has hired these singers/dancers to accompany her prayers in an effort to have her prayers heard. Because, you know, the gods like the rich people better.

Amazing pictures of a truly memorable adventure. You guys both write the best captions! These are experiences that will be with you forever and I am glad that you have had the chance to really see the world - at least the Asian part of the world.

    I loved the baby elephant!

It is mysterious that someone could use the word askewity and give her father grief about the word dicey.

Awesome pictures! Maybe Nicholas should stick to mastering grilled cheese? (Just kidding! You are becoming a great cook.)
I agree with Lee, the baby heffalump was too cute. I’m happy for both of you that you got to experience what you have while in Japan. Now, how about moving to Tahiti or Hawaii?!

I’m really shocked by seeing this picture, because that is my boyfriend. No joke, I’m serious! I’m a half thai half belgian girl and Piroon, your guide, is my uncle. What a coincidence I landed on your site!
